Getting kids into S.T.E.M. related activities and showing them the world of aviation.
More About The Club
We do many fun and creative activities, from building a pedal plane to going to a museum. Kids get to meet new people their age and have common interests! Kids get to experience the times before all of the technology, talk with others, learn new things, and go on trips, but most of all have fun!
We have two groups the Junior High group and the High School group.
Junior High Group
Kids ages 11-14.
The way of learning things may be a little different.
They get different types of S.T.E.M activities.
Camp will be a little more their age-based.
High School Group
Kids ages 14-18
The way a of learning things may be a little diffent.
They get different types of S.T.E.M activities. (Coming Soon!)
More advanced field trips
Camp will be a little more their age based.
More volunteer opportunities!
For the most part, they will be doing the same activities together, it all veries on maturity. This is mainly to help the kids learn easier for their age and to make more friends around their age.
Who We Are
Hello, I am Emily Vineyard the president of Future Aviators Association (FAA). I am a Junior in high school. I am currently in flight school at JWA hoping to solo soon. I wanted to start this club to show kids the opportunities of S.T.E.M and aviation out there and to help them meet new people who they share common interests with.
Hi! I’m Gina Soto the vice-president of Future Aviators Association (FAA). I am a Senior in high school. I am currently working on getting my Light Sport License at JWA. I am also working on getting my drones license.
Wayne has been an active promoter of General and Experimental Aviation for almost ten years, with a major focus on Youth in Aviation. Early on he came to the realization that the best way to run a program designed to attract and retain young adults was to have young adults run the group. This has proven to be successful and has also had the secondary benefit of providing the kids with leadership opportunities as well! Emily and Gina have full autonomy to drive the direction of the Club.
Al is the group visionary who develops programs, graphics and branding for the team. Al is passionate about helping people in every walk in life and this passion is combined equally with his love for aviation.
